Отговор на БМХО на атаките срещу хомеопатията, инициирани от академик Юхновски
Академик Юхновски е инициирал кампания в рамките на БАН, насочена срещу хомеопатията и срещу нейното изучаване в Медицинските университети.
Същата достигна апогея си с отправянето на писма до ректорите на Медицинските университети и със стартирането на „дискусия“ в множество печатни и електронни медии. За нас като лекари с допълнителна квалификация по клинична хомеопатия, подобен подход е абсолютно неприемлив и погазващ елементарни етични правила.
Публикуваното писмо „подписано“ от членове на БАН цитира тенденциозно подбрани документи и становища.
То квалифицира преподаването на хомеопатия в Медицинските университети като „анахронизъм“ …, самата хомеопатия, като „лъженаучен принцип, противоречащ на основните принципи на физиката и химията“.
Дискусия, дирижирана от физици и химици, хора без нужната медицинска квалификация, е подвеждаща за академичната медицинска общност, а последвалите публикации са обида към квалифицирания труд на над 2500 български лекари с допълнителна квалификация по Клинична хомеопатия, упражняващи своята дейност съгласно изискванията на Закона за Здравето /раздел VI/.
В предложението за прекратяване на изучаването на хомеопатия в Медицинските университети, се цитира половинчато и тенденциозно Декларацията на Научният консултативен съвет на европейските академии /EASAC/. Тази декларация определя хомеопатията като потенциално опасна главно по две причини – забавяне на първия контакт с лекар и последствията от това и лош контрол на качеството на приготвяните хомеопатични препарати.
- EASAC: “Използването на хомеопатията подтиква пациента да забави търсенето на подходяща медицинска помощ или по-лошо – възпира го.”
- EASAC: “Има потенциални проблеми с безопасността поради лошо наблюдение на производствените методи, което изисква по-голямо внимание към контрола на качеството и оценката на неблагоприятните ефекти.”
Това със сигурност е вярно за някои страни, в които не-лекари практикуват хомеопатия. Но в редица страни, хомеопатия се практикува само от лекари и хомеопатичните лекарства се отпускат само в аптечната мрежа, наред с другите лекарствени средства.
В България, клинична хомеопатия е единственото течение в хомеопатията, което се преподава в Медицинските университети, и тя се практикува само от лекари и използва хомеопатични лекарствени продукти, които са произведени по всички правила на добрата производствена практика, регистрирани са като лекарствени продукти и се отпускат в аптеките.
Разрешението за пускане на пазара в Европейския съюз на хомеопатични лекарствени продукти за хуманна употреба се регулира от Директива 2001/83/ЕО, допълнена със специални разпоредби относно доказателствата за качество, безопасност и ефикасност съдържащи се в Директива 2003/63/ЕО. В Европейския съюз, подобно на всички фармацевтични продукти, разрешените хомеопатични лекарства отговарят на най-високите стандарти за производство и контрол на качеството.
Следователно, първият контакт на пациента е с лекар, чиято квалификация в конвенционалната и неконвенционална медицинска практика му позволява да избере най–подходящият за неговото здравословно състояние метод.
И Европейският парламент и Парламентарната Асамблея на Съвета на Европа излизат с резолюции, които не само не отричат неконвенционалните методи на лечение (в това число и хомеопатията), а предлагат и по-голяма хармонизация в рамките на Европейския съюз. В отговор на това, миналата година беше приет Европейски стандарт за лекари с допълнителна квалификация по хомеопатия.
За съжаление, за всички лекари, съхранили историческата памет за нелицеприятни моменти в историята на здравеопазването, от цялата тази кампания лъха споменът за акад. Лисенко и отричането от академичната медицинска общност на наследствеността и генетиката, споменът за лечението, базирано на „нервизма“, споменът за „академичните“ теории отричащи изследванията на Селие и печалните последици от неконтролираните терапии с медикаменти. Всичко това удобно е „забравено“ от науката, но то е оставило своя отпечатък в съзнанието и съвестта на лекарите.
В заключение бихме желали да припомним, че спорове и несъгласия по отношение прилагани методи на диагностика и лечение, съгласно Кодекса по професионална етика на лекарите в Република България, не могат да бъдат обект на медийна полемика. Предполагаме, че тези принципи са залегнали и в Кодекса на Етичната комисия при БАН.
